Hi! We’re Amy and Miranda co-founders of ND Friendly Life.

As late-diagnosed Autistic ADHDers ourselves, finding each other and learning about neurodiversity has been magical and game changing for both of us! It has felt like a wave of relief that we knew we wanted to share with the whole ND world.

Those days before you identify are tough

Ever get sick of hearing yourself say:

“frozen pizza…again?”

A young woman with blonde hair sitting at a cluttered desk, with yellow paper featuring drawn eyes over her eyes, surrounded by colorful sticky notes and office supplies.

“My partner’s at their breaking point…

One kid is ADHD and the other just got diagnosed Autistic with PDA…

And I’m realizing they get it from me!!!!”

Person with multicolored tangled wires on their head, facing away, against a blue background.

“I used to be so together…

What’s happening???

The systems are still there but

I can’t make myself DO them anymore…”

A white bowl with a brown substance inside, with the word 'HELP' written in the substance, being held by two hands wearing yellow rubber gloves against a pink background.

The sink is full of dishes and the laundry is piled to the ceiling...

A young woman with a messy bun and striped shirt is lying on a pile of folded and unfolded laundry, with a cloth on her head and a playful, pouty expression. The laundry is surrounded by a partially open washing machine with clothes inside, a green laundry basket with clothes hanging over the edge, and various clothes scattered on the floor, in a laundry room with yellow and wooden background.

I am exhausted from pretending to the world that I have it all together…

Am I masking?

A woman holding a cutout of her smiling face, with a serious expression, against a plain dark background.
A person in a light blue shirt covering their face with hands, with a large cloud of blue smoke obscuring their head, against a matching blue background.

But all I can do is scroll #ActuallyAutistic and #ADHDLove alternately laughing and crying.

This is me… but is it?

How could I get to be 30… 40… 50 years old and not know it???? It can’t be true…

Am I pretending to be Autistic?

WHY WOULD I DO THAT WHY AM I SOOOOOO WEIRD?????

Oh shoot… it’s almost dinner time again… what’s in the freezer…

… pizza again???!!!!

Struggling to meet the demands of your day?

Exhausted and overwhelmed?

Brain not… braining anymore?

Resonating with the things you’re learning about neurodivergence?

Ready to finally understand and accept yourself?

We’ve Been There and We Get It. Believe it or not, you’re perfectly normal for an undiagnosed, masked, or late-identified Autistic-ADHDer.

Welcome home.

It’s easier said than done, but letting you be you is the first step to feeling better.

We believe that embracing who you are and connecting with others like you is a world-changing act of resistance against systems that said you were wrong, bad or different. Those messages were wrong.

You are

EXACTLY

who you’re meant to be.

And we’re here to help you accept, appreciate, and delight in yourself, cheering you on as you connect with your neurodivergent culture.

Our Team

  • Self-identification is an honored tradition in Autistic culture, but sometimes we want some support and data during the process! We can help you with that. Also one on one coaching can be a great way to get that external perspective on a deeply internal experience.

  • A lot comes up when you realize you’re neurodivergent. It’s a whole thing, and talking to people who get it can be an incredible relief.

Sometimes your old ways just don’t work anymore. Redesigning your life after identifying can be complex, but you don’t need to do it alone! We can help.

  • Most of us have spent our lives knowing that “just be yourself” was the kind of advice that could get us bullied, kicked out, or worse. We’ve had lots of experiences of rejection, ridicule, or a life lived SO inside the lines that we don’t even know what would happen if we relaxed our social-skills monitoring. Here you get to practice sharing yourself in a small, curated group of other ND adults like you.
